Patrol vessel Echigo of the Japanese Coast Guard anchored at Tien Sa Port on June 13.
During the visit, Japanese officers and sailors will pay courtesy calls to leaders of the Da Nang municipal People’s Committee, the Vietnam Coast Guards’ representatives, and the Region II Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (Da Nang MRCC). In addition, the two coast guards will share experience in search and rescue missions at sea, and patrol for maritime security as well as take part in sport competitions.

The program is an opportunity for the two sides to exchange experience and improve mutual understanding, contributing to fostering cooperation between the two countries.
